ABOUT

Sam Retzer is a Virginia born composer and music producer living in Brooklyn, NY.

His film scores include Stomp the Yard (#1 box office), A Band Called Death, The Parking Lot Movie (SXSW 2010), American Son (Sundance 2008), The Mothman Prophecies, and the Bollywood thriller Prince. He also co-wrote the theme song for Disney Jr.’s P King Duckling with Josh Selig (Wonder Pets) and scored the first season of the show.

Sam has also written promos and network redesigns for the Sundance Channel,  MTV,  Comedy Central,  DirectTV,  CMT, and Adult Swim as well as producing songs for Complex Media, Cartoon Network’s Mad and Mario Van Peeble’s Mario’s Greenhouse. His music has been featured in national campaigns for Audi, Honda, Citibank, Comcast, Reebok, Mercedes, M&Ms, and many more.

His label Rudyland Records has placed music for Sony Pictures, Screen Gems, IFC Films, Microsoft, and Peta.
